But new home could still be months away
Vince Macaulay thinks his side can challenge the likes of Newcastle Eagles and Everton Tigers at the top of the BBL Championship, but only if they move into their new home, and soon.
Lions are still waiting for news on when building work on arena:mk will resume, with a spokesman for MK Dons saying: "We are still working closely with our key partners to bring necessary elements together for the arena's completion.
"It remains a difficult time for such development to take place, but the positivity of the parties involved keeps the project moving in the right direction and we hope to commence work, as previously advised, this summer."
The new BBL season will start in September.
