Macaulay backing his side for great escape
Vince Macaulay insists his side can beat the Plymouth Raiders on their own patch this Saturday, despite the Devon side having already beaten his Lions side twice this season.

Lions need to win to stand any chance of finishing in the top eight and qualifying for the end of season play-offs, but Macaulay insists his men have enough to see off fifth placed Raiders.

"Everything came together for us in Scotland and we will go to Plymouth with exactly the same game plan to beat them," he explained.

"We will be focussed and determined, and I'm pretty sure that we'll have too much fire-power for them."

And Macaulay says he will not go and watch one of their rivals play on Sunday.

"If we win then hopefully it will take care of itself, so I'm not going to sit around and look out for their results."
