ICONIC music brand Marshall Amplification has created a one-of-a-kind 1962 Bluesbreaker Combo Amp which will be sold through a raffle to help raise money for Willen Hospice.

Music fans across the country will have the opportunity to take part in the raffle and be in with a chance to win this rare, custom-built prize.

Paul Hinson, Willen Hospice Chief Executive, said: “We were over the moon when Marshall approached the hospice to get involved with fundraising. We’re always looking for ways to raise funds and the custom built amp is an innovative and creative way of getting our name and cause out to the wider public.

“We’re hoping that music fans everywhere will help us increase our fundraising target this year and make this one of our best raffles ever.”

The amp has been hand built exclusively for Willen Hospice by Marshall’s Custom Shop in Bletchley, Milton Keynes. It features a gold-plated chassis, original ‘Bluesbreaker Cloth’ and a speaker grille, and has been hand finished in a classic black Levant vinyl covering.

“Marshall is truly honoured to be supporting such a worthwhile local cause,” said Jon Ellery, Managing Director at Marshall Amps.

“This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own a 1962 Bluesbreaker Combo Amp, and on behalf of Marshall I would like to say good luck to everyone who participates, and thank you for helping to support Willen Hospice.”

Tickets for the raffle are £25 each and can be purchased from the Willen Hospice website at www.willen-hospice.org.uk, the Willen Hospice shops or the Lottery Office on 01908 578256.

The winning ticket will be drawn on May 2 which will also entitle the winner to a personal tour of the Marshall Amplification HQ in Milton Keynes, where they will be presented with the amp.
