Bollywood for a Cause is holding a charity event at Monkston Park Community Centre next Saturday.

Bollywood Day will see Bollywood, Bharathnatyam and Bhangra Master Classes and a number of themed stalls between 12pm and 3pm.

Stall holders at the event will all be up and coming entrepreneurs currently working from home waiting for an opportunity. This event not only allows them to promote their business but also network with like minded individuals with the majority being Asian women.

The stalls will include Indian Food, Clothes, Jewellery, and Henna Design to name a few.

The event was set up originally to promote Bollywood dance classes currently being held in Monkston Park Community centre and Bletchley Leisure Centre.

Bollywood dance teacher, Jessica Memon, thought it would be a great way to promote these classes by providing individuals the opportunity to see what Bollywood dancing was all about.

It grew after it was decided to make it an event bringing together creative individuals to give it an open atmosphere and include the stalls.

All money raised from the event will go to Bollywood for a Cause. One of the first projects will be to teach deaf children Bollywood dance.

For more details or stall bookings call Jessica on 07738 757333 or email jessicamemon@googlemail.com
