MK to welcome new learning difficulties centre

An international organisation devoted to improving the lives of children and adults with learning and developmental difficulties is opening its first UK centre in Milton Keynes on Thursday

This revolutionary new centre, opened by Sensory Activation Solutions, will offer a range of services for children and adults suffering from conditions ranging from Dyslexia, Attention Deficit and Speech Difficulties to more severe difficulties such as Autism, Cerebral Palsy and Downs Syndrome. Following a diagnostic assessment individual programmes are designed around the specific needs of the client. Most programmes involve a combination of neuro-sensory sound therapy with supplementary parent coaching and training seminars.

The structured programmes aim to help alleviate some of the debilitating effects that these conditions can have on speech and physical ability, daily behaviour, emotional well-being and educational or work performance.

The innovative methods are based on the latest findings in neuro-plasticity and are continuously researched at SAS Centres and independent Educational Establishments throughout the world. The Dutch founder of Sensory Activation Solutions, Steven Michaëlis, commented: “The practical solutions offered by the new centre in Milton Keynes will bring welcome relief to thousand of parents who are seeking effective interventions”.
