Pancakes treat for city gymnasts

Pam Lynch and the girls at the Arabian Gym

Pam Lynch and the girls at the Arabian Gym

YOUNG gymnasts were given a special treat on Shrove Tuesday – when they were served pancakes on an Olympic beam.

The girls at the Arabian School of Gymnasts were given the pancakes at 8pm by trainer Alan Armitage as an unexpected extra part of their usual training session.

Mr Armitage arranged for 71-year-old Pam Lynch to make fresh pancakes for each of the gymnasts.
