Last year's Milton Keynes Marathon

Last year's Milton Keynes Marathon

MK Marathon Runners are being asked to sign up and run for Willen Hospice this year.

Last year the charity had 57 runners take part raising £20,000 and this year they are hoping to make a huge improvement.

Elaine Johnston, from Willen Hospice Events team, said: “We were thrilled that so many people took up this demanding challenge on behalf of the Hospice and raised so much money.

“We look forward to supporting this year’s runners and cheering them on along our hometown route.”

Marathon runners get a lot of support from the Hospice team with a special vest, the ability to connect with other runners through the Hospice’s Facebook page and regular catch ups where entrants can share training tips.

If you are already signed up for the marathon and would like to run for Willen Hospice call Elaine on 01908 306991.
