Vintage Stony set to be another roaring success

PEOPLE are invited to a popular New Years Day event in Stony Stratford that usually gets people’s engines revving.

The Market Square will once again reverberate to the sound of vintage cars for the annual Vintage Stony event.

Last year more than 150 pre-war cars and motorcycles graced the Market Square and it is anticipated that Tuesday’s event will be even bigger.

For lovers of post war, classic cars an additional gathering will take place in Cofferidge Close. The event will be open from 11am and is free to exhibitors and spectators alike and many of the local shops, pubs and restaurants will also be open for the occasion which will be raising money for Willen Hospice.
