Why Kaiser is woman’s best friend
A WOMAN working at Hula has spoken of her joy after she helped to re-home an unwanted dog.
Karina Collins spent the best part of four years helping to train Kaiser at the Hula Animal Rescue despite him having a fear of people and sensitivity around other dogs.
Karina said: “It was incredibly difficult but I took him to training school after agreeing it with Hula and he came on leaps and bounds.
During his training Kaiser earned a Kennel Club Silver Good Citizen award for his behaviour.
Karina added: “Winning the award then seeing him leave was one of my proudest moments, but was sad at the same time. I am very lucky as I still get to see him quite a lot.”
Hula was heavily supported by the Pedigree Adoption Drive which donated £5,000 to the charity.
