Thornborough staged a remarkable fightback to seal a 69-run victory over second placed Hinton in the Hedges on Saturday.
Thornborough collapsed to just 67-9 before a last-wicket partnership of 95 between Nick Chapman and young Tom North took the total to 162, with North cracking a fine 46 and Chapman remaining unbeaten on 36.
Thornborough's bowlers then did their job, the visitors shot out for 93 as Chapman added to his runs with 2-11 with brother Ian claiming 4-4, Thornborough now up to fifth in the Division One table.
Afro Caribbean recorded only their second win of the season, beating Stoneleigh by five wickets.
Stoneleigh fell to 101 all out with Craibbean sealing the win with their reply of 103-5.
In Division Two, MK Air are joint third, one of three teams on 101 points. Saturday saw them see off Preston Bissett in a three- wicket success, Preston only making 190 with Raghav Pyraraka taking 4-34.
And Air clinched victory with their reply of 191-7 with 47 not out from Prakash Desai and 43 from Jayesh Shah.
Hanslope find themselves in the bottom two after a 23-run defeat against Gree Norton, who only totalled 109 all out batting first with Will Giffin claiming 4-12.
However, the total proved enough because Hanslope were dismissed for only 86, despite the efforts of Ross Coles who made 24.
Crown made it four wins from seven games in Division Three by beating Syresham A by 50 runs. C
rown totalled 184-7 with 42 from Rob Horspool, 41 from Simon Jones, and 33 from Ashley Potlock. Syresham fell to 134 all out in reply, Horspool taking 2-25 with Ashish Sachdeva taking 2-26.
Thornborough A picked up their second win of the season in Division Five with a three-wicket victory over Preston Bissett A.
Preston were sent packing for 129 as Cameron Davies claimed fine figures of 4-27 with Dan Allen taking 3-28. Davies then followed up his following efforts with a superb 54 to steer Thornborough home with three wickets in hand.

Unbeaten Castlethorpe set the pace
Castlethorpe and Great Brickhill lead the way in Group A of the Milton Keynes Sunday League Cup.
Castlethorpe secured a 95-run win at home to North Bucks Ambulance with Mick Lee knocking 48 on route to their total of 190-7, Shaun Jarvis taking 4-42. And Simon Smith with 5-30 and Nick Bell (14-4) saw off NBA for 95 all out in reply.
Great Brickhill made their winning target of 116 in just 8.2 overs at home to Shenley Church End.
Stuart Burke fired 60 for Shenley but they fell for just 115 as Ally Bowden's 3-14 did the most damage. And Brickhill were home and dry in no time as Doug Aris hit 78 not out and Andy Higgs 31 not out.
Wolverton Town lead Group B after a 175-run home victory against Stoke Bruerne.
Wolves made 260-7 as Michael Baker led the scoring with 65 and there was good support from Andrew Gosling on 38. And Stoke collapsed to just 89, with James Bell claiming 4-31 for Wolves.
New Bradwell's openers shared an unbroken stand of 153 to help defeat visitors MK City by 10 wickets.
George Nelson made 42 of City's 152 before Asim Hussein (96 not out) and Greg Tite (35 not out) saw Bradwell to the finishing line.
Milton Keynes were beaten at home by Bletchley Town by 106 runs, 15-year old Janak Savjani taking 5-32.
