Now closed. Walked by last night on our way to a neighbouring restaurant and found out it closed about 3 months ago.

After an unsatisfactory first visit (dead flowers, sticky floors and disappointing food), and reading the generally favourable views of other diners, we decided to come back for another try: this time at a lunch time.
This time the service was a bit amateur (young waiter obviously still in training), but the food was a big improvement. We had the buffet and the starters in particular were fresh and very tasty. The buffet mains dishes are all slow-cooked stews and quite tasty but a little disappointing: but given the £9 price good value. The freshly cooked flat-breads in particular were very nice and crispy. The price includes Persian sweets, a little sweet for my tastes but they looked nice.
Overall a much better experience and well worth a visit. This time we plan to return.

had a fantastic meal here. We went al la carte and never regretted it. The flavours were amazing and portion sizes just right.
Staff were attentive and cheerful.

I have been to Shiraz regularly in the last two years as I just cannot resist their buffet.
If you have never tried Persian food before the buffet is ideal as it allows you to sample a variety of cold and warm starters, half a dozen mains (stews) with plain or saffron rice and a good selection of desserts.
The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, with attentive service and the decor original still comfortable.
Families are welcome.

Amazing service and amazing food. We went there as we were xmass shopping in milton keynes, with 3 starving kids it was great to have the buffet so no waiting was required, service was amazing and very quick. The owners where great hosts. We came from Oxford and will return very soon. Highly recomend this resturant

we stopped in here for the buffet on tuesday! well where do i start.
Before we'd even made it to our seats, the over zealous waiter asked if we were having a la carte or buffet and what we would like to drink! Not the best idea when you haven't seen a drinks menu! Once we had ordered a drink (still standing i hasten to add) we said buffet. He said ok and we received out drinks. As new bees to this restaurant we didn't know what was what, but not to worry, he DIDN'T explain! We finally found out! The food was nice, although the plate got cleaned away before we'd finished! To top it off as he placed the bill on the table (and before we'd checked it) he asked how we intended to pay!
overall the food wasn't bad, but the service definitely was!
