All Sixth Form students at Milton Keynes school forced to self-isolate following Covid-19 infection

A school in Milton Keynes has confirmed one of its Sixth Form student has tested positive for Covid-19.

The Radcliffe School, in Wolverton, said it has had its first confirmed case of Covid-19 in the Sixth Form, meaning all 180 of its Sixth Form students and six members of staff have been forced to self-isolate for 14 days.

A school spokesperson said: "We can confirm that it is one student who received a positive result over the weekend (Saturday, October 3 to Sunday, October 4).

"Following advice from Public Health England we have isolated the Sixth Form students as a precaution from today (Monday, October 5) and will continue to provide work for them whilst they are at home during the 14-day isolation period. All parents have been informed."
