HELLO and welcome as we take a look at all things MK Lightning.
It has been a frantic few weeks for the Lightning as we have been playing games fast and furious over the past fortnight.

Yet our play-off destiny will come down to just two games this coming weekend v Bracknell Bees.

Our aspirations of making the Coventry Final Four will hinge on us beating Bracknell over a two legged series of games with us at home on Saturday and then away on Sunday.

The games themselves will be tense and hard fought affairs as all the matches this season between the two sides have been that way.

With already being bridesmaids once this season and also losing out in overtime in a semi-final (to Bracknell) we will be desperate to do what it takes to get the victory(ies) that will see us playing for silverware next weekend.

We have had some other great news this week as our captain and the league's leading scorer Gary Clarke has been selected for the GB senior team that will be taking part in the World Championships in Innsbruck, Austria, in two weeks time.

It is very well deserved and the whole club is very proud of Gary and we wish him and his team well.

We are hoping for a great home crowd on Saturday to cheer us on to victory as it will be our last home game of the season.

The support we have received over the past few weeks has been immense and I know all the guys are grateful.

We will also be presenting Breast Cancer Care UK with a cheque at Saturday's match from our fundraising efforts over the past few weeks.
Face off is at 7pm and we hope to see all our great fans down at Planet Ice this Saturday for our final home game.

It is a massive event for us and a large and noisy crowd could be the difference in seeing us on our way to the play-off finals.
