Hi everyone and I'm sure your aware its now play-off time, writes captain Gary Clarke.
We played our first two games last weekend back to back with the impressive Slough Jets who are the favourites to win the group as they finished in second place during the league campaign.

On Saturday we lost at The Hanger 5-2 but put in a solid performance with the score perhaps not reflecting the game.

The following night in the Thunderdome we played a lot better and managed to show our true fight and spirit but narrowly lost 3-2 in overtime.

Although we didn't win the one point we got for the overtime loss could prove to be crucial.

After the game all the guys in the dressing room were disappointed but also proud knowing every single player gave their all.

This will hopefully lift the team ready for te forthcoming weekend.

We play back to back games against a very fast and offensive Swindon Wildcats starting at home on Saturday before the return game at The Link Centre in Swindon on Sunday.

Although we lost our last two games with Swindon we know we can beat them having defeated them twice earlier in the season.

The team know if we are to make it the final four of the play-offs at the Coventry Skydome on April 12 and 13 both these games are must win encounters.

Anything less will make it very difficult for us.

I know the team will be up for the challenge and I hope the crowd is too.

If it's as loud as it was last Sunday I'm sure it will certainly give us the extra edge we need.

Hope to see you loud and proud on Saturday when you can be part of that crowd to give us an extra man on the ice.

Face off is 7pm.
