A peaceful haven among the houses of Wolverton will welcome visitors on Saturday.
Urb Farm is a two and a half acre site in the heart of the residential town, which is lovingly tended by the Growing People team.
This small horticultural social enterprise works together to grow organic, fresh and seasonal fruit, vegetables, flowers and salads to sell to local businesses and members of the community.
As part of the Milton Keynes Christian Foundation - a charity that works with disengaged young people - Growing People works to help young people gain horticultural qualifications as well as numeracy, literacy, employability, social skills and personal development.
Green-fingered volunteers, staff and trainees have been working hard to get the farm looking its best for visitors who are invited to enjoy a locally-sourced BBQ, live music, face painting, local crafts and food stalls, freshly-pressed apple juice, activities and homemade cakes and refreshments.
The farm boasts it very own bees for honey and hens for eggs and has ponds and woodland that is home to a variety of wildlife, making it the ideal place for families to visit.
As well as being able to tour the farm and see the produce that has been growing all season, guests will also learn about the environment, wildlife and nature - and pick up tips on how to start growing vegetables at home.
On-site parking is limited so visitors are encouraged to walk to the farm, which is located between 196-198 Windsor Street, Wolverton.
