Milton Keynes City Orchestra had plenty of reasons to celebrate Saturday’s Beethoven concert, held at MK Theatre - it brought more than 1000 people through the doors.

Founder conductor Hilary Davan Wetton led the event, which featured guest soloist, former BBC Young Musician of the Year Cordelia Williams.

“It was marvellous to be in the theatre alive with support for our orchestra performing at their very best,” said MKCO chairman Marian Livingstone.

“We were delighted to introduce Cordelia to our enthusiastic Milton Keynes audience, she is truly one of the most inspiring young musicians in the UK.”
