IF you fancy a pint after work this week, for once consider giving the local a miss in favour of The Concrete Pint Beer Festival.
MK & North Bucks CAMRA branch are taking the wet stuff to The Buszy for the second annual event at the Eldergate venue, and by ‘eck they’ve got plenty of fizz: with more than 90 beers, ciders and perry on the menu.
A wide range of beers from across the UK, including plenty from the region, will be served up, and hot and cold food will be available to soak up those excesses oof the event, which actually runs daily from Wednesday.
“We are really pleased to have increased the beer selection by 30 beers, and tripled the range of ciders for this years’ festival,” says organiser Doug Dillow.
All you have to do is turn up and get slurp happy.
On Wednesday, the beer fest will be open between 5 and 11pm, and from Thursday on you can check in between noon and 11pm.
On Saturday evening Isabelle, and later The Band will sing while you sup, as live music rounds things off in style...cheers to that!
