Have your say

Roll on the end of the week, a time to put your troubles to the side, and pick up a pint of something cold and wet...

Luckily for you, the 11th Cock & Bull Real Beer Festival is back with added sparkle on Friday.

Once again, York House Centre in Stony Stratford will be your hosting venue, and a couple of dozen beers and ciders will be awaiting your approval, most of them brewed and bottled in close proximity.

The beer festival, aside from keeping you well lubricated, serve as a great fundraiser for York House itself...and entry is free.

On Friday, the event will be supplemented in the Beechey Room by an Open Mic spoken word session, with poetry and storytelling, while on Saturday, live music will flow the same as the beer, thanks to Palmerston.

Among those bringing their flavours to the event will be the Concrete Cow Brewery, offering up two popular choices – the refreshing, zesty Fenny Popper and devilishly good ruby black stout Cloven Hoof.

The Real Beer Festival is running between noon and 11pm both days and admission is free.

Bottoms up!
