It takes two to tango, waltz, foxtrot, quickstep or cha cha your way across a dance floor so Milton Keynes Dance Centre is on a mission to help match aspiring dancers to a partner.

Dance lovers seeking a partner should shimmy on over to the New Bradwell studios on Sunday for their first ‘Find a Dance Partner’ session.

The morning gathering is aimed at those who are keen to learn Ballroom, Latin or Rock ‘n’ Roll, or are already dancers, but want to improve and need someone to dance with.

It will start with beginner steps but as confidence builds there will be lots of rotation of partners for plenty of dancing together.

Debbie Young, principal of MK Dance Centre (MKDC) said: “I know it’s terribly daunting to come to a class on your own as a beginner or even to return to a class if you previously had a partner.

“This way all the worry is taken away as we provide a safe, secure and sociable environment to enjoy dancing with like-minded people, and pave the way for more sessions or perhaps moving onto specialised classes with people you know.”

‘Find a Dance Partner’ takes place from 11am until 12.30 and costs £8 per person, including tea/coffee.
