The annual trip to panto is a Christmas must-do, and in Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas we have a plump array of quality waiting for you.

PANTO: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

STARRING: Warwick Davis and Jennifer Ellison lead a cast which also includes returning favourite Kev Orkian

WHEN: December 6, 2013 – January 12, 2014

THE PLOT: Seven hardworking dwarves and a handsome prince try to rescue the beautiful Snow White. But can tru love’s first kiss really save the day? And will Snow White and Prince Charming live happily ever after? Hmmm....

THEY SAY: “I intend to put on the biggest, brightest panto that Milton Keynes has ever seen, and I’m in it, so really, there is no excuse not to come and see it!” Warwick said.

PANTO: Mother Goose

STARRING: Milton Keynes Amateur Operatic Society

WHERE: Stantonbury Campus Theatre

WHEN: December 21 2013 – January 4, 2014

THE PLOT: When Mother Goose finds Pricilla, a goose that lays golden eggs, it’s like she’s won the lottery – but will all that money go to her head?

She wants eternal beauty but is more likely to end up with egg on her face. Let’s hope she can put things right and save Pricilla from the evil clutches of Horribella before it’s too late!

THEY SAY:Bags of atmosphere in the happiest little panto in MK. No wonder we’ve won the NODA Best Area Panto award for five years running.

(NOT THE) PANTO: Alice in Wonderland

STARRING: Proteus Theatre Company

WHERE: The Stables, Wavendon

WHEN: December 18, 2013 – January 4, 2014

THE PLOT: Alice In Wonderland is full of fun, magic and surprises. Proteus Theatre Company transports you into Wonderland for a mad-as-a-hatter adventure. You will meet crazy characters and some beautifully made puppets who will take you on a journey with Alice, as she tries to find her way out.

PANTO: Sleeping Beauty

STARRING: Anita Dobson, Henry Collins and Holly Brewer

WHERE:Aylesbury Waterside Theatre

THE PLOT: “...the tale of a beautiful princess who pricks her finger and falls into a deep sleep – thanks to an evil spell cast upon her by the wicked fairy. Will her true love be able to awaken her and save the kingdom from this enchantment?

PANTO: Sleeping Beauty

THE PLOT: The one about the girl who pricks her finger and falls into the sort of sleep that no pill could enable – a 100 year snooze.

PANTO: The Wind in the Willows

STARRING: Stuart Angell, Jack Edwards, Christopher Harper and Sion Lloyd

WHERE:Royal & Derngate, Northampton

THE PLOT: The peace of the countryside is shattered by Toad’s insatiable appetite for all things noisy and new.

When his love of the motorcar leads him into more trouble, shy Mole, faithful Ratty and sensible old Badger struggle to get their bombastic friend on the straight and narrow.

Comes with carol singing hedgehogs and wicked weasels!
