CLASSICAL guitarist Craig Ogden has an outstanding playability, a skill that has led to him being placed in the elite box marked ‘world’s finest’.
The Australian born talent has played at prestigious venues including The Barbican and The Royal Albert Hall, but tomorrow he debuts in the intimate surrounds of the Chrysalis Theatre at Camphill, Willen.
“Of all the popular classical instruments, the guitar is arguably the most intimate,” Craig explains of his most preferred ‘tool’.
“As such, it is best heard in small venues both because of the sound-world conjured by the guitar and because an appreciation of the technical challenges of the instrument is best gained at close quarters.
Join the Classical Brit nominee as he takes a stroll
through his Number One albums The Guitarist and Summertime, and plays compositions from other composers both classic and contemporary.
