In the frame for comedy capers
Ian Smith
COMEDIAN Ian Smith, below, will appear at The Cannon in Newport Pagnell this Sunday evening, at That Time of the Month promotion.
Ian has even been hailed as the ‘new Bob Monkhouse’.
That’s quite something, don’t you think?
You’ll not find any funny business happening at the front of the ale house though, but rather in the room out the back.
Tickets are £4 on the doors.
Get there nice and early, say about 7pm.
> THE Cornerstone Music Programme presents a lunchtime concert by The Peers Consort on Saturday.
They will wrap up a superb programme of English music with one of Britten’s Canticles.
New city pianist Craig Greene – currently on a Scholarship with the Royal Academy of Music, is among those performing.
The show will begin at midday. For more info, call MK 246486.
