REMEMBER Mrs Bucket (pronounced of course, as Bouquet) in Keeping Up Appearances?
Actually, the lady who played the toffee-nosed busybody originally trained as a singer, and was a major hit on both sides of the Atlantic– she earned a Tony for a Broadway appearance and an Olivier for Candide at the Old Vic.
Tonight, Patricia Routledge will be Facing The Music in conversation with broadcaster Edward Seckerson, at The Stables.
It will make for a fascinating, interesting night out, from 8pm.
Classic Clapton will echo round the auditorium tomorrow night with the tribute act, while The Galleons get busy with a blend of styles over on Stage 2.
Wootton Jazz Night is the attraction for Saturday evening, with a session of big band, jazz, blues and soul ringing from the Jim Marshall Auditorium, while Stage 2 is hosting Rosie’s Pop Diary – that’s Rosie on the left.
She will be mixing stand-up with storytelling and acoustic versions of her songs as she takes her audience on a look back at her rollercoaster ride of chasing stardom back when Britpop ruled the airwaves.
She’ll talk bizarre auditions, supporting Bob Geldof and Jamie Cullum and the day she walked barefoot along one of London’s busiest roads...well, she thought it would make good record cover material!
Her past credits are numerous, but do include reporting for 5 Live, writing for NME and Time Out, and guesting on BBC Radio 4’s Loose Ends and Woman’s Hour.Tickets are a snip in advance, at just a tenner.

Russell Kane, that skinny, bendy, funny fella (and we mean that in a loving way) is at the venue on Sunday evening but tickets are long sold out.
Don’t give up hope though....Zombies frontman Colin Blunstone returns on Tuesday evening to preview his new solo CD, while jazz lady Trish Clowes performs on Stage 2.
