THE world’s longest running show is off on a whistle-stop tour this year to celebrate 60 years in London’s West End ... and Milton Keynes Theatre welcomes the brand new cast this week.
Agatha Christie’s ‘The Mousetrap’ is a classic murder mystery play – with a brilliant twist ending, that has been entertaning audiences since its premiere way back in 1952.
The scene is set for a nerve-wracking mystery when a group of people gathered in a country house are cut off by a snowstorm.
To their horror, they discover a murderer in their midst, and so begins an exploration of each of the possible suspects before the shocking ending is revealed.
The cast will include Steven France, Thomas Howes, Karl Howman (of Brush Strokes fame), Bruno Langley, Graham Seed (remember him from the Yes, Prime Minister UK Tour – he was absolutely brilliant!), Claire Wilkie and Jemma Walker.
Jan Waters will reprise her West End role.
In her own inimitable style, Dame Agatha Christie created an atmosphere of shuddering suspense and a brilliantly intricate plot where murder lurks around every corner.
Will you be able to work out ‘whodunnit?’
Performances begin on Monday, and tickets start at £10, call 0844 871 7652.
