Milton Keynes Gallery Project Space is playing host to a new exhibition, showcasing works by members of the MK branch of University of the Third Age.
Visitors to the arts space through to March 30 can now admire the efforts of MKU3A creatives, including posters, samples of craft including cross stitch, and an audio visual presentation.
“Nobody has to stop learning just because they have stopped working,” said Stephen Royle of MKU3A.
“Learning is interpreted in the broadest sense, with subjects ranging from art, music, economics, lacemaking and writing to pretty well anything in between. Subjects don’t have to be academic - hundreds enjoy more physical activities such as dancing, cycling and yoga.”
The Mayor of Milton Keynes, Councillor Brian White officially opened the exhibition at a preview event held on Wednesday evening.
