English National Ballet teamed up with MK Theatre and MK Gallery to offer young dancers the opportunity to gain practical and performance experience with some of the UKs leading arts organisations.
The five-day residency has been inspired by German contemporary visual artist Andrea Büttner, whose solo exhibition opens at the gallery this week.
“It is different to what I expected, really fun but tiring,” said participant Livi Thynne, 18. “I am loving learning the choreography. I really like art too so I’m enjoying mixing the two together.”
The residency will reach its conclusion on Saturday, with a free public performance at the gallery at 1.30pm.
