Woburn Safari Park is holding a special penguin charity event this weekend, raising money for the vulnerable Punta San Juan Project in Peru – home to the largest breeding population of Humboldt penguins in the region. While visitors won’t
be allowed to erm, p-p-pick up a penguin, they will be able to assist in special penguin feeds, which is pretty cool.
A raffle and various activities will also be hosted to swell the coffers for the charity.

> If you do visit the Safari Park, keep an eye out for some of the so-called Woburn Stars, including Tarli the Asian Elephant calf, Elton & Minerva the Amur Tigers and Katu the Eastern Mountain Bongo.
All of the animals are from endangered breeds and all are thriving at Woburn.
