Uplifting, moving and transformational music will provide a spiritual escape for audiences at The Chrysalis Theatre on Saturday.

Billed as a ‘musical meditative journey’, Always Blessings is by Lucinda Drayton – an internationally renowned singer, songwriter and meditation teacher.

This will be her first visit to Milton Keynes, and The Reiki Support Group MK is thrilled that she will be here.

The Group is a charity assisted by MK Community Foundation providing ‘Reiki for All’ on the second Thursday of every month at 7.30pm at the Well at Willen.

Volunteer Reiki practitioners provide the spiritual practice, which uses the hands to channel and transfer universal energy for natural healing.

The whole person is treated (rather than specific symptoms) and, as there is no specific belief system associated with Reiki, anyone may receive or learn to give a Reiki treatment - the only prerequisite is the desire to be healed.

Annie Barlow is one of the Reiki practitioners and a member of The Reiki Support Group MK.

She said: “Lucinda Drayton is very well known and respected within Alternative Health and Well Being circles.

“We hope that the wonderful people of Milton Keynes don’t miss this special opportunity to experience a musical meditative journey.”

Lucinda will perform on Saturday at 7.30pm. Tickets are £20.

Proceeds will be used to ensure the group can continue to provide Reiki at the Well and to plan provision in other community settings for those who are unable to travel.
