The Milton Keynes & North Bucks branch of the RSPCA is appealing to anyone thinking of giving a cat a home to pay them a visit next weekend.

The charity is inundated with cats and kittens all seeking forever homes, and next Saturday, August 10, will hold a special large format rehoming event at the Heath and Reach Veterinary Surgery.

Unfortunately, cats aren’t the only unwanted pets turning up en masse at the RSPCA’s door – rabbits are also being disregarded all too frequently, and so the special opening – between 2 and 4pm – will feature a bunny corner too.

Perhaps you would like to help out in the short term? If so, enquire about fostering.

Volunteers from the branch will be on hand to offer advice and provide information about the animals available and the adoption process.

If you would like further information, call the centre on 01908 611179.
