It’s Half Term, but keeping the kids occupied needn’t be a stress – it’s a piece of cake with MK Museum.
Extraordinary science demonstrations with Professor Beamish, children’s crafts and the chance to turn back the clock and make music the way the Victorian’s did will all keep youngsters entertained.
And when they feel a bit peckish, they can enjoy a spot of domestic science in the kitchen by making hot buttered toast over the range.
If they – and you – want a spot more to munch on, a trip to The Granary Tea Room will set you up, with sandwiches and delicious homemade cakes to tempt you.
If by some bizarre chance your little mites are missing the classroom, they can take a seat in the Victorian schoolroom instead.
A great day out is also a cheap day out – two adults and up to four children can enjoy themselves for just £25.
The museum is open between 11am and 4.30pm daily during half term.
