Video: Memories of the Unfinishable is a colourful Fringe hit

As a part of this weekend’s exciting MK Fringe Festival programme, a decidedly colourful fabric pavilion has arrived in Midsummer Place, called Tales of the Unfinishable.

The Arts Council England funded exhibition is a collaborative project from the creative minds of Felicity Clarke and Hazel Connors.

‘Have you ever wondered when you come across an incomplete artwork or craft piece in a second-hand shop what the story behind it was? Who the maker was, why they stopped work and how it ended it up where it did?’ they asked.

They then went out to explore the phenomenon of the ‘Unfinishable’, collecting contributions of pieces of textile work and the stories behind them, and piecing together the wonderful exhibition that will be present in Midsummer Place until Sunday...
