West Side Story - coming to MK Theattre 2014

Milton Keynes Theatre has announced West Side Story will return to its stage in 2014.

When it opened on Broadway in 1957, West Side Story changed the course of musical theatre, and the film which followed won a staggering 10 Academy Awards.

Fast-forward more than half a century and the love story with a decidedly tragic conclusion remains a huge success - and played a sold out season at the Chatelet Theatre in Paris last Christmas.

West Side Story explores the rivaly between two Manhattan-based teenage gangs; one white, one Puerto Rican.

It also has a sensational score which includes memorable songs Maria, Tonight, Somewhere, America and I Feel Pretty.

The production will play in Milton Keynes from 3-14 June, 2014.

Tickets are on sale now from the box office, with prices starting at £15.
