Youngsters do battle this weekend
This weekend sees the climax of the Milton Keynes and Border Counties Youth League Cup tournaments, the finals once again backed by the Citizen
No less than seven Citizen Cup finals are due to be played at stadium:mk over Saturday and Sunday, the U18 final having been switched from tomorrow, Friday, to Saturday with a 6.30pm kick off after MK Dons' play-off semi-final at home to Scunthorpe was re-arranged for that date.
The U18 final will see Waterhall Stars tackling Central Milton Keynes.
Saturday starts off with the U13 final between Newport Pagnell Panthers and West Bletchley, this tie kicking off at 10am.
The U15 final between West Bletchley and Newport Pagnell Panthers follows at 1pm with the U17 final between Brackley Athletic and Olney Town Colts being played at 4pm.
Sunday sees West Bletchley and Bletchley Youth contesting the U12 final at 10am with Moretonville facing Willen Junior Blues at 1pm in the U14 final.
The weekend's football bonanza ends with the U16 final at 4pm, Moretonville tackling Scot Youth.
The finals are being held as part of the league's 40th anniversary celebrations.
Presentation parties have been assigned to each of the finals, and the guests will present the trophies and medals to the sides and match officials after the games.
