North Bucks and District League round-up
Deanshanger Athletic moved to the top of the Premier Division following their 4-2 win at Southcott on Saturday with last week's leaders AFC Brickhill Rangers beaten 6-3 by Lavendon.

Deakin netted twice for Southcott in their defeat against Athletic while Cole, Nash (2), Johnson, Messant and Old netted for Lavendon in their victory over Rangers, Bateman (2) and Perry on target for the losers. The other game in the top flight saw Brackley Sports down Syresham 3-1.

Intermediate Division leaders Rangers XI were 3-1 winners at Hanslope with Beevis (2) and Beaton on target for the winners, Bucknell netting for the losers.

Sherington kept in touch with their 5-0 win over Marsh Gibbon while Castlethorpe were 6- 3 winners over Abbey, their goals from Garrard (2), Thompson (2), Cerrone and Marella while Morgan, James and McGregor scored for Abbey.

Great Horwood edged out Workplace Wanderers by the odd goal in three, Great Linford recorded a 4-1 win over Southcott while O'Connor (2), Kelsey, Phillips (2) and Pacey saw PB Wolverton Town to a 6-4 win over Twyford.

Woburn Sands Wanderers remain top of Division One after their 5-1 home win over Yardley Gobion Reserves, their goals from Knox (4) and Johnson.

Goldman (2), Larram and Mills scored for Lavendon Reserves in the 5-1 win over Potterspury while Humberstone, Cushway, Mundy and Wilmott netted for PB Wolverton Town Reserves in their 4-3 win over Bletchley Trees Reserves.

Upton (2), Kemp and Troy struck for Sherington Reserves in their 5-4 defeat against Woughton while Tim Dawson and Gareth Soper netted for MK Wanderers in their 2-2 draw with Steeple Claydon Reserves. The other game saw Clarke score for Wicken in their 2-1 defeat against Titans Reserves.

Westbury and Deanshanger Reserves lead the way at the top of Division Two, Westbury making it four wins in four with a 4-1 win over Marsh Gibbon Reserves, Deanshanger making it four out of five when they beat Heath Panthers 1-0 thanks to a strike by Tapp.

Horwood Reserves drew 2-2 at Charlton, Grendon Reserves drew 1-1 with Stewkley Reserves, RBL hammered Hanslope Reserves 8-0, Linford Reserves were 3-1 winners at Syresham Reserves while Wing Reserves were 1-0 winners at Twyford Reserves.

>> The Berks and Bucks Intermediate Cup offered other North Bucks League clubs action at the weekend, Simon Milton netting a hat-trick for MK Titans in their 3-1 win over Bletchley Manor.

Meanwhile Grendon won 2-0 at Bierton, Steeple Claydon beat Aston Clinton 2-0 with Thornborough moving through thanks to their 4-1 home win over Bletchley Trees, the goals from Trevor Davies, Richard Jones and Stuart Parker (2).

Wing Reserves bowed out 4-3 after extra time to Aylesbury Vale Reserves while Stewkley failed to raise a side and handed Old Bradwell their passage through.

>> In the Northants Junior Cup, Michael Baker scored twice for Yardley Gobion in their 2-1 win over Eye Sports while Brackley Reserves won 2-1 at Wellingborough Weavers with Silverstone beating Northampton Liberty Stars 2-0.
