Lavendon topple Manor to take the title

Lavendon are the newly crowned Premier Division champions.

Lavendon had put themselves back in the box seat with their 3-2 midweek win over challengers AFC Brickhill Rangers and Saturday's 3-0 win over Bletchley Manor secured the title, the goals from Cole (2) and Torto.

Rangers are set to finish runners up, Rangers following their midweek defeat with a 3-1 win over Brackley Sports on Saturday, the goals coming from Troughton, Tanner and Manning.

Steeple Claydon were 3-1 winners at Bletchley Trees, Price on target for the losers, Claydon having downed Stewkley 3-0 in midweek. The other game on Saturday saw MK Titans fight out a 4-4 draw with Grendon.

Two other midweek games had seen Thornborough beat Bletchley Manor 3-0 with goals from Stuart Parker and Rob Davis (2) while Bletchley Trees were 2-1 winners at bottom side Wing.

Sherington are the Intermediate Divison champions following their 2-0 success over Twyford, Sparks and Walton on target. Sherington had beaten Great Horwood 2-0 in midweek with Walton and Dunsford on target.

Saturday's games also saw Brackley Sports Reserves beat Workplace Wanderers 4-0 with Silverstone winning 2-1 at Great Linford, Richardson on the mark for the losers.

Another midweek game had seen Yardley Gobion record a 3-0 win at Hanslope.

Woburn Sands Wanderers are all but Division One champions, needing a point from their final game to be certain.

Potterspury completed their programme with a 1-1 draw with MK Wanderers in midweek, the one game on Saturday seeing Titans Reserves edge home by the odd goal in three against E&H.

Other midweek games had seen PB Wolverton Town Reserves win 4-0 against Claydon Reserves with J Mundy, M Mundy and F Mundy among the goals, while Lavendon Reserves were 6-1 winners over Woughton.

Westbury had already been crowned Division Two champions before they lost out 3-2 at Twyford Reserves in midweek.

Games on Saturday saw Deanshanger Reserves win 5-1 at Grendon Reserves, RBL record a 3-1 win over Charlton and Stewkley Reserves beat Linford Reserves 3-1.

Other midweek games had seen Twyford Reserves win 2-1 at Charlton, RBL beat Syresham Reserves 2-0 and Grendon Reserves win 4-0 at Wing Reserves.

>> The Division One Trophy final played last week at Buckingham Athletic's ground saw Woburn Sands Wanderers beat E&H 4-1 after extra time after the sides had been level on 1-1 after 90 minutes.
