Blackburn will welcome Dons manager at Tuesday briefing
Paul Ince has been appointed manager of Premiership Blackburn Rovers.

The Guv'nor has been handed a three-year deal at Ewood Park and has become the first black English Premier League manager.

Ince is departing MK Dons after winning the League Two title and Johnstone's Paint Trophy and has been handed the job despite not holding the correct coaching qualifications.

Last week the Premier League gave Rovers dispensation over Ince's failure to hold a Uefa Pro Licence.

The former Manchester United, and England midfielder will be given two years to earn his licence.

A press conference will be held at Ewood Park on Tuesday where he will officially be unveiled.

A statement on the MK Dons website said: ""After what he has achieved in his time with the club, we cannot deny Paul the deserved opportunity to work in the greatest league in the world, and we know everybody in Milton Keynes will join us in wishing him every continued success in what is certain to be a fantastic managerial career."

Stony Don,

Shame.
I reckon we should have Ian Holloway or Billy Davies as manager next.
Thanks for a great year Paul!

Another year, another manager - the Dons are going in the right direction but until they can start holding on to talent progress will always be precarious.
