MK Dons will sign Chesterfield midfielder Peter Leven on July 1.

Leven came through the youth ranks at Ibrox and joined Kilmarnock in 2004 in search of first-team football. He made 75 appearances for the men from Rugby Park before breaking into English football three years later.

The Glasgow-native played twice against the Dons last season, and was pivotal in Chesterfield's 2-1 at stadiummk in November.
