84-year-old woman dies in road traffic collision in Milton Keynes

An 84-year-old woman died in a road traffic collision on Thursday.

The incident happened at around 1.10pm on the H9 Groveway, at the junction with Simpson Drive.

The woman was a passenger in a blue Ford Fiesta which was involved in a collision with a grey Citroen C4 and a white Ford Transit van. She is believed to have died at the scene.

A man in his 80s, who was driving the Fiesta, was taken to Milton Keynes General Hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the Citroen C4, a woman in her twenties, suffered minor injuries and was taken to Milton Keynes General Hospital for treatment. She has since been discharged. The driver of the van was uninjured.
