Bus crashes in CMK

MK Metro bus in collision with cars - tree topples
A Metro bus was involved in a collision with a car and a tree on Avebury Boulevard at lunchtime today (Monday).

The bus was left badly damaged in the accident at around noon.

It is understood the driver of the vehicle, which was not carrying passengers, lost control and it struck a kerb before going down a grassy slope by Saxon Court and colliding with parked cars.

The bus driver was taken to hospital and there is currently no word on his injuries.
