Police release footage after man steals £150 from Newport Pagnell salon
Police have released CCTV images of a crook who helped himself to charity cash from a Newport Pagnell hair salon in the hope of bringing him to justice.

The thief struck at about 4.50pm on Tuesday, May 20, at Chesneys Hair Salon in the High Street, swiping a British Heart Foundation charity box from the counter.

The box contained about £150 in charity donations.

PC Andrew Perry said: "Stealing money from a charity is a particularly callous act and we want to identify the person responsible.

"The owner of the salon is extremely angry and upset that someone has deprived the charity of the money which was kindly donated by members of the public.

"If anyone recognises the man in these pictures I would urge them to contact the police as soon as possible."

Anyone who recognises the man can contact PC Andrew Perry at Newport Pagnell police station via the 24-hour non-emergency number, 0845 8 505 505.
