Five firefighting crews called to overnight incident at Gulliver's
A major blaze gutted a building at a popular city-based theme park.

The fire at children's attraction Gulliver's Land near Willen started about 3am this morning, Friday.

It saw five fire crews from across the city rush to the scene, using three of their most powerful jet hoses, breathing apparatus and a pump for removing water.

By sunrise the blaze had been put out before police started investigating, putting a cordon around the area and attracting the attention of rush hour traffic and those using the nearby sports centre.

A Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesman said a single-storey building had been left "70 per cent damaged by fire, 20 per cent damaged by heat and smoke."

The theme park attracts families across the country and is hugely popular with youngsters.
