Send him your get well messages.
Following a major US touring schedule, jazz legend Sir John Dankworth was admitted to hospital on his return to Milton Keynes two weeks ago.
The 82-year-old composer and performer is currently undergoing tests and cancelled all shows for the rest of this month.
John's wife, singer Dame Cleo Laine was also hospitalised upon their return home with a chest infection.
She is now recovered.
Sir John and Dame Cleo flew to their California holiday home in July following their hugely successful Music In The Garden season.
The annual event is held in the grounds of their Wavendon home.
They enjoyed a brief period of rest before beginning a long list of American live dates which saw performances in Los Angeles, Malibu and San Francisco.
A spokesman from John's office confirmed: "Sir John has been hospitalised following a very exhausting US tour.
"He is currently undergoing a series of tests."
John is now resting up in preparation for his appearance with Cleo at the London Jazz Festival in November with a show called Accentuate The Positive.
