Bletchley woman fears mess is a 'health risk'
A Bletchley mum is giving Milton Keynes Council the bird over pigeons fouling the balcony at her Lakes Estate home.

Danielle Slaymaker fears the mess could be a health risk to her 11-month-old daughter Keira.

She had been appealing to the council to replace a missing slate to prevent the birds getting into the roof space.

"I've been going down to the council for over a year, but nothing is being done about my problems," she said.

Her daughter cannot play on the balcony, but on one occasion picked up feathers there, prompting her mum's fears about the potential health risk.

A council spokesman said: "Although we have not been able to find any record of Miss Slaymaker's complaint, I am glad to say that we will be sending out a surveyor this week to resolve the problem."
