Woman claims she was raped in Greenleys
City detectives are appealing for information as part of their investigation into an alleged serious sexual assault.

A 25-year-old woman reported to police that she had been raped in the early hours of Friday morning near the Redway on Greenleys.

The alleged assault took place around 4.30am and a full forensic investigation is currently underway.

Det Insp Neil Dodds, leading the investigation, said: "I am appealing to anyone who believes they saw the woman in the Greenleys area, to contact me.

"I am also keen to hear from anyone who thinks they may have witnessed the assault itself or saw something they discounted at the time, but now feel may have been more suspicious."

Anyone with information is urged to contact Milton Keynes CID via the 24-hour Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505.
