The Stables music venue celebrated its 40th Anniversary on Saturday, the same day that founder Sir John Dankworth passed away.
The show was turned into a tribute to Sir John.
Performers who gave their time included Victoria Wood, Timothy West, Martin Taylor, Laurie Holloway and Jenny Linden.
Dr Jim Marshall OBE, guitarist Bert Weedon and Dame Evelyn Glennie were among the audience.
