The owners of Caesars Palace in Las Vegas could bid for the city's new casino
MK Today understands the US-based gambling giant, Harrah's, has registered its interest in the UK's newly planned casinos.

Its plans came to light when it appeared on a recent register which lists public affairs consultancies and their clients.

The list, compiled by the Association of Professional Political Consultants (APPC), shows Harrah's has hired a UK public affairs company in an attempt to lobby ministers.

Harrah's owns a number of Las Vegas supercasinos, including Caesars Palace, Ballys and Imperial Palace.

Plans for a new wave of UK casinos - including Milton Keynes - were officially approved by the House of Lords last month.
