A portion of chucklevision if you please

You could do one of two things tomorrow night: sit at home for fear of those unlucky Friday 13 gremlins rearing their heads, or get out and have a right good giggle at An Evening of Chuckles.

It's a no-brainer, right?

The Ramada Encore hotel in The Hub will host this funny showcase of the best local comedians, which has teamed The Dry Spot promotion with Elnukeda Productions.

The event organisers will be beaming out all over for more than one reason – it's also their first birthday. Ready the celebratory candle…

Organisers don't want to give you a couple of comedians though, not even six or seven. Nope, they have booked a minibus load – 16 of 'em!

Christopher Purchase will headline and tickets are 6 in advance, 8 on the door.

"Nobody else in Milton Keynes could offer you that kind of value!" said organisers.

Not that these hard grafters will pocket the cash – they will hand it over to city-based charity World Vision.

There is nothing not to like about this bash, so rally your mates and help yourselves to the laughs.

Book tickets online by searching for 'An evening of chuckles' on the Ticketweb site.

Doors from 7pm, the funnies will roll from 8pm.
