Months of abusive, aggressive and violent behaviour, drug-related activities and excessive noise is now over for residents in Beanhill.

A troublesome property has been ‘shut down’ for three months after a closure order was made by MK Magistrates.

A council spokesman said: “This legislation has been effectively used to tackle persistent anti-social behaviour following many months of attempting to resolve the issue.

“Feedback from the immediate neighbours is that they are pleased with the action taken and the closure order will make a significant difference to their lives, reducing fear relating to the people coming and going from the property, and they are looking forward to getting a good night’s sleep.”

This is the second closure in recent months to address anti-social behaviour issues taken by Milton Keynes Council in partnership with Thames Valley Police.
