A theme of children’s literature ensured Woughton Carnival was a blockbuster success on Saturday.
Children and adults alike had great fun preparing their costumes for the parade.
Hundreds of onlookers lined the route, enjoying music from Starlight Samba as well as a band from Netherfield Chapel.
The carnival was organised by Woughton Community Council and brought together communties from Beanhill, Netherfield and Coffee Hall.
The fun culminated at Woughton Leisure Centre where there was entertainment and displays.
A spokesman said: “A splendid time was had by all.”
