THE Red Card Comedy Club returns to the new city this Friday evening, and, providing he has finished squawking at cardboard birds, Hal Cruttenden (right), will top the bill.
This funny fella (and we mean that affectionately) has worked on Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, The Rob Brydon Show and he’s toured the UK with Rob too.
‘He takes the personal, the surreal, the ridiculous and the political, and whizzes them into a delicious comedy smoothie that is sweet with a hint of sharpness,’ says The Scotsman.
Grab a glass and sink a pint worth!
Lively, infective stand-up Tiernan Douieb will also make the laughter rise, along with the ‘spontaneous, unique and unfailingly funny’ Henry Parker.
Picking up the baton marked ‘compere’ and laughing at it will be presenter, writer and comedian David Ward with his cheeky outlook and unique and gentle bite ready to roar.
Buy tickets in advance for £11 or pay £13 on the door. Call 0845 45 45 045.
Doors at 7.30pm.
